Kid Flash is the name of several fictional superheroes appearing in comic books published by DC Comics , originally created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino , as a junior counterpart to DC Comics superhero The Flash . The first version of the character, Wally West , debuted in The Flash #110 (1959). The character, along with others like the first Wonder Girl , Aqualad , and Speedy , was created in response to the success of Batman 's young sidekick Robin . These young heroes would later be spun off into their own superhero team, the Teen Titans . As Kid Flash, Wally West made regular appearances in Flash related comic books and other DC Comics publications from 1959 through the mid-1980s until the character was reinvented as the new version of The Flash.

Additionally, Wonder Girl is temporarily promoted to the book's headliner, receiving three full-length solo stories, including top-billing with her own logo predominating Wonder Woman's on the covers of issues #152 and #153. July 1965 was a significant and somewhat puzzling month in the history of Wonder Girl, concluding her regular presence in the Wonder Woman comic book with issue #155 while simultaneously seeing her appear as

1179-580: A full-blown romance. Once accepting the mantle of the Flash, Bart moved to Los Angeles, California and enrolled in the Police Academy. The Earth is a changed alternate timeline, where Bart Allen wakes up in the 31st century in Brainiac 's stasis pod chamber and has lost his super-speed. After failing to avoid being re-captured by Brainiac, he

This looser narrative identification allowed her a new status as an entity entirely distinct from Wonder Woman, a character unto herself. Though Wonder Girl and Wonder Woman do not directly call one another "sister" in these issues, Hippolyta does refer to them as her daughters, and all three repeatedly identify themselves as

In The New Golden Age , Jay Garrick allows Judy Garrick to bunk in Bart's room while he is away with Max Mercury. He later attended a party that was held by the Flash family. Bart's primary power is speed, along with abilities that are common to comics speedsters, such as creating whirlwinds, running on water, and vibrating through matter. The latter ability results in "molecular taffy" if Bart does not concentrate; he also possesses an aura, that prevents air friction while running. Bart does possess some abilities that other speedsters do not have. He has
