Babrius ( Ancient Greek : Βάβριος , Bábrios ; fl.   c.  200 AD ), also known as Babrias ( Βαβρίας ) or Gabrias ( Γαβρίας ), was the author of a collection of Greek fables , many of which are known today as Aesop's Fables .
