Sogod , officially the Municipality of Sogod ( Cebuano : Lungsod sa Sogod ; Tagalog : Bayan ng Sogod ), is a 2nd class municipality located in the northeastern part of Cebu , Philippines . According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 39,447 people.
