Sir Samuel Gluckstein (28 September 1880 – 19 August 1958) was a British solicitor and politician.
3-504: He was the son of Isidore Gluckstein (1851-1920), son of one of the founders of J. Lyons and Co. (Samuel Gluckstein), and his wife Rose (née Cohen). Gluckstein was educated at the City of London School and privately. He subsequently studied law and became a partner in the Bartlett & Gluckstein, solicitors. Gluckstein made three unsuccessful attempts to win parliamentary seats for the Conservatives: at Plymouth, Devonport in 1924 and 1929 , and at Hammersmith North in 1926 . He was a member of the Court of the University of London , by whom he was awarded an honorary degree in law. He was knighted in 1933 "for political and public services in Westminster".
