Darrell G. Kirch ( / k ɜːr tʃ / KURCH ) is an American physician who is president and CEO emeritus of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). He trained as a psychiatrist and neuroscientist , before going on to hold senior administrative positions at several medical colleges .
