Al Wusta Governorate ( Arabic : مُحَافَظَة ٱلْوُسْطَى , romanized :  Muḥāfaẓat Al-Wusṭā , lit.   'The Central Governorate') is one of the governorates of Oman . Its capital city is Haima . It was previously a region (' mintaqah '), before becoming a governorate on 28 October 2011 ; 13 years ago  ( 2011-10-28 ) .
