Uman Raion ( Ukrainian : Уманський район , romanized :  Umans'kyi raion ) is a raion ( district ) in the west of Cherkasy Oblast ( province ) of central Ukraine . Its administrative center is the city of Uman . Population: 247,847 (2022 estimate).
