Severoonezhsk ( Russian : Северооне́жск ) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement ) in Plesetsky District of Arkhangelsk Oblast , Russia , located 55 kilometers (34 mi) west of the town of Mirny , on the left bank of the Onega River .
