The National Olympic Sports Centre ( Chinese : 国家奥林匹克体育中心 ; pinyin : Guójiā Àolínpǐkè Tǐyù Zhōngxīn ) or Olympic Sports Center Stadium ( simplified Chinese : 奥体中心体育场 ; traditional Chinese : 奧體中心體育場 ; pinyin : Àotǐ Zhōngxīn Tǐyùchǎng ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Chaoyang District , Beijing , China. It is currently used mostly for soccer matches. It was constructed in 1986 for the 1990 Asian Games . The complex contains the main stadium, an indoor arena , a hockey field, and a natatorium .
