Kuçovë Air Base ( ICAO : LAKV ) is an air base located near Kuçovë , Berat , Albania . The base was built in 1952 by People's Socialist Republic of Albania and entered service in 1955. NATO and Albania government renovated the Air Base in 2024 in the context of the ongoing NATO expansion into Eastern Europe.
