Granollers ( Catalan: [ɡɾənuˈʎes] ; Spanish: [ɡɾaˈnoʝers] ) is a city in central Catalonia , about 30 kilometres north-east of Barcelona . It is the capital and most densely populated city in the comarca of Vallès Oriental .
