Neighboring districts are (from west clockwise) Anhalt-Bitterfeld , the district-free city of Dessau-Roßlau , the districts of Potsdam-Mittelmark , Teltow-Fläming and Elbe-Elster in Brandenburg , and the district of Nordsachsen in Saxony .
