Brome-Missisquoi ( French pronunciation: [bʁɔm misiskwa] ) is a regional county municipality in the Estrie region of Quebec , Canada. It lies in the Eastern Townships area. The seat is Cowansville . In 2021, it was transferred to the Estrie region from Montérégie.
