Abebe Bikila Stadium ( Amharic : አበበ ቢቂላ ስታዲያም ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Addis Ababa , Ethiopia . It is currently used mostly for football matches, on club level it was used by Dedebit F.C. of the Ethiopian Premier League . The stadium has a capacity of 25,000 spectators. It is named after famed Olympic Marathon champion Abebe Bikila .
